This is a 100 mile cycle race around the New Forest in Hampshire organised by Wiggle, its route takes riders on a loop south to Christchurch, past Southampton and up to Salisbury before returning to Somerley estate.
The Medal
This is a cast brass pendant with no colouring, all detail is cast into the medal on both sides in very high quality. the front of the medal has a stylised race name written in plant stems with leaves growing out of it.
the reverse of the medal displays the sponsor and ‘Super Series’ and both sides are surrounded with an imprint of a bicycle gear.

The ribbon isn’t a highlight of this medal, the material is rough and feels lower quality than the pendant would suggest, however the printing on the ribbon is high quality with the logo of the organiser.
Overall I rate this medal 5/10.
the simplicity of the pendant is a draw but the design could be more intricate, the ribbon lets it down much more though.
