Held on a Friday night, this is a 4 lap course around the Lotus Test track in Hethel, mostly long straights and gentle turns but with a series of tight hairpins to make up the 2.5km lap distance.
The Medal
This medal is made of wood with a good size but a light weight, in the shape of the classic lotus logo and with a parody of the signet but with the organisers initials laser engraved along with the name of the race and the organisers name – Harling AC.

The ribbon is good quality, soft and silky material, with a lotus yellow background and the name of the race, date and sponsors in black
Overall I rate this medal 4/10.
The design is good, but medals made from wood don’t convey the sense of prestige that medals should, points are made back in the quality of the ribbon.
