The Wymondham 20 organised by Wymondham Athletics Club is a 20 mile 2 lap course starting in Wymondham town centre and has runners circle twice around a loop of the villages of Deopham and Morley before returning to Wymondham for the finish line, with 150m of climbing, excellent signposting and marshalling with ample water stops mean that this race is an ideal gauge of fitness for the spring marathon season.

The Medal
The Pendant is made from metal and designed to look like the famous town sign, except with the mural replaced with a group of runners, 20, and the club logo at the base, the quality of the casting is excellent with no rough edges and the colour is provided by enamel which stands out well and makes the medal pop. The truly unique design of this medal really makes it stand out in a collection, however the long aspect ratio of the medal does make it feel small and light in the hand.
| Weight | 40g |
| Dimensions | 45mm x 70mm |
| Material | Metal and enamel |
The ribbon is the same quality as the previous medal from this clubs 10k race, soft and silky displaying the race name in white on a maroon background. The stitching is moored at the ribbon mounting on the pendant which means there are no awkward seams to ruin the look.
Overall I rate this medal 7/10
The finish and design of this medal really makes it stand out and the quality of the ribbon adds to the prestige of the whole piece, if the medal were slightly larger and heavier it would gain points.
