The Bure valley 10 mile takes place near Colby, a hilly race (for Norfolk) through rural farm land and is well attended and supported.
The Medal
The medal is -to be frank- abysmal. a small stock medal made of metal and enamel, from runningimp.co.uk, listing for £1.15. no customisation other than the engraving on the back with the date and the name of the race (also included in the price).
| Weight | 41g |
| Dimensions | 51mm x 55mm |
| Material | Metal & enamel |

The ribbon is awful coloured the same as the medal, black and green, very rough, creases easily and is not mounted in a dedicated ribbon mount, rather pushed through an aperture in the medal, which whilst effective means the ribbon does not sit nicely on the pendant.
Overall I rate this medal 1/10
given the competition from other races medals, there is not excuse for this meagre offering, especially given the price of the race vs the medal.
