The Holt 10k organised by the North Norfolk Beach Runners and held at Gresham’s School, is an undulating road course with a section of trail half way through, Facilities at HQ included ample toilets, stalls for local running shops and a tea and cake hut for racers and spectators, the only downside is that there was no indoor area or bag drop which was a bit of a problem considering the wet and rainy conditions of the day.

The Medal
The pendant is made from metal, on the smaller side but beautifully cast into it is an owl in flight, the symbol of Holt, and a sunset in the background, the entire medal is painted in sky blue with dark blue wings and yellow in the sunset, revealing no metal and results in a very unique and stunning finish. the organiser and race names follow the perimeter of the scene in dark blue.
| Weight | 40g |
| Dimensions | 51mm Dia. |
| Material | Metal and enamel |
The ribbon is the same quality and design as the previous years, soft and silky material, the background is in the same sky blue as the pendant, and there are waves in dark blue and yellow to represent the organisers club colours, the organiser and race name are displayed boldly in dark blue. the stitching is neat and anchors the ribbon to the mounting on the pendant meaning no unsightly seams standout.
Overall I rate this medal 6/10
The finish and design of the medal really stand out, along with the quality of the ribbon, however this medal is very small which affects the final score.
